Backyard Bird Feeding Basics

Presented by Linda May, DNR
Environmental Outreach Coordinator, Wildlife Conservation,
Wildlife Resources Division

Are you curious to learn more about the birds that frequent your yard? Do you want to see them up close? Do you want to learn how to attract the birds you see in your neighbors yard to your yard? This is the presentation for you!
Linda enjoys sharing her knowledge with others and empowering them to be good stewards. Although she appreciates all critters, she has a particular interest in songbirds, frogs, backyard habitats, nature photography, and citizen science projects.
Linda currently serves as Environmental Outreach Coordinator for the Nongame Conservation Section and has worked as an educator for the Georgia Department of Natural Resource Wildlife Resources Division for over 23 years. Linda received a degree in Wildlife Management from the University of Georgias Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources. Her strong curiosity about the natural world drives her to learn more every day.
This will be a great presentation for our newer members and for your friends who might be interested in birding. Invite all birders and birders-to-be!
